Candace Cameron was the youngest of four children, born in southern California to Robert and Barbara Cameron. Following in the footsteps of her TV superstar older brother Kirk Cameron, (who played Mike Seaver for 7 seasons on the hit show “Growing Pains” (1985), Candace decided to pursue acting herself. She appeared in several commercials, and guest-starred on several shows such as “Punks Brewsters” (1984), “St.Elsewhere” (1982) and “Who’s the boss” (1984).
In 1986, at age 10, she was cast as Donna Jo “D.J.” Tanner, the eldest daughter, on “Full House” (1987). The show’s eight-year run ranks it among the most successful series of all time. Candace also appeared in the films Punchline (1988) (playing Sally Field’s daughter), as well as numerous television movies.
After “Full House” (1987) ended its run, Candace married hockey player Valeri Bure at the age of 20. They have three children.
Husband Valeri Bure was a star hockey player for NHL’s Calgary Flames.
Younger sister of Kirk Cameron and sister-in-law of Chelsea Noble.
Splits her time between Calgary, Canada and Los Angeles, CA.
Older sister, Bridgette Cameron, had a guest role on “Full House” (1987) on February 7th 1995.
Was matron of honor at former “Full House” (1987) co-star Jodie Sweetin’s first wedding and her daughter Natasha was flower girl.
Very first acting job was commercial for Mutual of Omaha Insurance. The commercial never aired.

Has three children with husband: Natasha Valerievna Bure (born August 15, 1998), Lev Valerievich Bure (born February 20, 2000) and Maksim Valerievich Bure (born January 20, 2002).
Introduced to her husband Valeri Bure by former “Full House” (1987) co-star Dave Coulier. After their wedding, Valeri sent Coulier an autographed hockey stick with the message, “Dear Dave, thank you for Candace.”

Attended Nevada Ave Elementary School in West Hills, California. When “Full House” (1987) began, her teachers were often invited to attend tapings of the show. She spoke at her graduation in the spring of 1988 and received a roaring ovation from the families gathered.

(December 2004) She lives in Florida during her husband’s hockey season, and she lives in Los Angeles, California during the summer.
